PC Game ‘Twin Mirror’ Gets New Gameplay Trailer

Twin Mirror Game

Twin Mirror is an upcoming episodic, narrative-driven PC game from the developers of Life is Strange (DontNod Entertainment).

Twin Mirror revolves around Samuel Hayes, a 33-year old man from small-town West Virginia. Sam has an alter ego called “The Double” who is a manifestation of the voice inside Sam’s head. The Double is far more outgoing and brazen than Sam and serves as an advocate for opposing viewpoints.

As you can see in the gameplay trailer, something very bad has happened and Samuel is trying to piece together the events that occured.

Gameplay Analysis

While the voice acting may be sub-par, the gameplay, graphics, and storyline all seem immersive and detailed. There are a lot of visual similarities to Life Is Strange and The Evil Within 2’s memory trail and shapeshifting rooms.

The ability to change the course of the story based on choices adds depth and realism to the game and helps players feel emotionally invested.

The episodic nature is also a great way to keep players invested in the story, especially when there’s a mystery to be solved.

Twin Mirror Release Date

Episode One of Twin Mirror, Lost on Arrival, is set to release sometime in 2019. The game will be available for PC, PS4 & Xbox One. For updates, head over here.
